ZAPP is passionate about poetry in education. We want to show young people how to discover themselves and their infinite creative potential through reading and writing poetry. We believe that poetry can open doors to:

• Pride in one’s culture and language;
• Self-confidence
• Self-knowledge;
• Healing from collective and individual trauma;
• Proficiency in language;
• Academic success.

This motivates our work in schools.
